Raised in a small town in Southeast Indiana, Elyse began her journey into pageantry at the age of six after being inspired by the television show Toddlers & Tiaras. Her initial foray led her to win the title of Little Miss Indiana, setting the stage for future successes. She hails from a close-knit family with two brothers and a sister, and her mother, Michelle Hofer, plays an integral role in managing her burgeoning career.

Elyse's pageant career is marked by perseverance and triumph. After initial competitions, she clinched the title of Pure International Little Miss America for 2019–2020, a testament to her dedication and poise. Her involvement with Pure International Pageants, a faith-inspired and community-focused organization, has allowed her to participate in events like New York Fashion Week and various community parades. ​

Modeling Career

Beyond pageantry, Elyse has established herself in the modeling industry. Represented by Wings Model Management in Cincinnati, Ohio, she has graced the pages of publications such as Child & Family Magazine and Child, Tween, and Teen Magazine. Her modeling pursuits have taken her to prominent events, including appearances at New York Fashion Week, showcasing her versatility and appeal. ​
